Mr. King, we have some things in common. We both have had a rough start in the entertianment business. Also, I never had a mentor, same as you. We both had the drive and the talent to make it to the top. In addition, we both stand as icons in our areas of entertianment!
Yes I agree, it is hard to race and keep a family when you are moving around and trying to build up your success. A family takes time, and money which everyone does not have. When you have a family you cannot be gone for a very long period of time. You have to be there for your kids and help to race them.
We have many things in common. We both grew up in the world war one era, and we both strived in it. We also strived in entertainment area. We both we well like in our time and still are.
Being african american during the time of segregation, is not a piece of cake honey. but with god all things are possible!
